Taking No Prisoners

So the second (and final) draft of Vent seems to have gone down well with the audience. Albeit it was a very quiet audience - up to the point of our film's Q&A, then there was a comment commending our use of lighting, and another question from Zixin regarding the sudden reappearance of his tie. It's because of the non-continuity editing (one) and also because he put his tie back on (two).
Which has just sparked off another thought in me, maybe I should have had him in a suit and briefcase as well? That would have made it more interesting.
But all in all, I think we didn't do too badly. We didn't have noticeably blurry shots, and I think the flawed parts floated past the audience quietly. So yay for this time round. I wonder if there's any correlation between sex, action and death. Something to ponder about for the next film, and after this one, I suspect I've got an unhealthy fixation with cigarettes and smoking.
